About Me, Gavin Van Vranken

I’m a fourth year student at Syracuse University pursing a B.I.D in Industrial and Interaction Design.

I love taking an idea from first sketch to a finished physical piece, and I’m drawn to things that are weird, unexpected, and have a story behind them.

I work in concept sketching, CAD, 3D printing, and metal and wood fabrication, and I’m growing into electronics and circuits. Outside the studio, I lead a campus ministry, building deep relationships and hosting community events at my apartment.

I’m looking for a role in entertainment design, building structures and props for events, film, and stage.
